CDN setup
We connect and configure a CDN (Cloudflare and similar): we serve static and cache from servers near the user worldwide, with basic protection and acceleration. So the site opens faster for a geographically distant audience and withstands load. Honestly upfront: a CDN speeds up delivery and cacheable content, but does not 'cure' a slow server/application, requires correct cache setup, and the provider's paid plan is billed separately.
CDN setup — overview

CDN setup is a project: we connect the CDN, set up static (and, where appropriate, page) caching, cache rules and invalidation, compression, TLS/certificates, basic protection (against some bots/DDoS at the CDN level), and HTTP/3 if needed. Honestly about the effect and limits, this is key: a CDN speeds up delivery of static and cacheable content, especially for a distant audience, and offloads the server — but it does NOT speed up non-cacheable dynamic requests and does NOT cure a slow application/DB (those are separate tasks); if the origin is slow, a CDN will not fix it. Honestly about cache setup: the value is in correct rules — too aggressive a cache will show stale content, too weak gives no effect; we set up and test invalidation so there is no 'stuck' old content. Honestly about cost: the CDN itself is a third-party service; free plans exist (e.g. basic Cloudflare), but advanced features and volumes are paid, directly to the provider, separate from our work. Honestly about protection: a CDN gives basic protection, but it is NOT a full replacement for site security (a separate service group). Honestly about business: speedup helps, we do NOT guarantee sales growth by itself. Honestly about access: access to DNS/domain and the site is needed. An important boundary: this is CDN setup, not content optimization (706-710), not server tuning (722) and not comprehensive security. If the audience is local and the server is nearby, the CDN win is more modest. Picture this: instead of 'distant users wait for a response from one server' content is served from the nearest point. The base price starts from 15,000 ₽ per project; it depends on the provider and complexity (the CDN plan — separate).
Problems we solve
- The site opens slowly for a geographically distant audience.
- Load hits one server, at peaks everything lags.
- Static is served without cache and acceleration.
- There is no basic protection and load distribution.
What's included in the CDN setup service
- Connecting the CDN and DNS
- Setting up static (and page, where appropriate) caching
- Cache rules and correct invalidation
- TLS/certificates, compression, HTTP/3 if needed
- Basic protection at the CDN level
- Verifying there is no 'stuck' stale content
- A report and recommendations (CDN plan — separate)
- Handover and review with you
What you get
- Faster content delivery, especially from afar
- Less load on the origin server
- A correct cache without stale content
- A base of speed and resilience (sales growth — not guaranteed)
How the work goes: steps
- We clarify the audience geography, provider, what to cache; collect DNS access
- We connect the CDN, set up cache, invalidation, TLS
- We test cache and correctness, provide recommendations, review with you
Why PDV Expert

FAQ
Will a CDN speed up the whole site?
It speeds up delivery of static and cacheable content, especially for a distant audience, and offloads the server. But non-cacheable dynamic requests and a slow application/DB it does not speed up — those are separate tasks. If the origin is slow, a CDN will not fix it.
Is the CDN plan included in the price?
No. A CDN is a third-party service: there are free plans (e.g. basic Cloudflare), but advanced features and volumes are paid directly to the provider, separate from our setup.
Will a CDN replace site security?
No. A CDN gives basic protection (some bots/DDoS at its level), but it is not full site security — for that there are separate services (headers, WAF, audit). Do not consider a CDN full protection.
