Honestly about the market size, this is key: foldables are still a small, though growing, segment. This is predominantly the Android world (Samsung Galaxy Fold/Flip, Pixel Fold etc.); Apple has no foldable iPhones at the time of writing. So separate foldable optimization is not justified for every app — it makes sense if a premium image matters to you, you have a notable Android audience with such devices, or the product benefits from a large screen. If not — it may be a premature investment, and we will honestly say so.
