So text appears fast and without jumps. Honestly upfront: this gives a measurable speedup of text rendering and less CLS, but the effect is limited by the number of weights and third-party/licensed fonts, and by itself it does not raise sales.

Font optimization is a project: we convert fonts to woff2, do subsetting (keep only needed characters/languages), set up preloading of key weights and font-display (swap/optional), remove extra weights/styles, and where possible use system fonts as a fallback. Honestly about the effect: fonts often cause text delay (FOIT) or 'jumps' on swap (FOUT) and spoil LCP/CLS — optimization improves this measurably (we show 'before/after'). Honestly about the trade-off: there is no ideal option — font-display: swap removes invisible text but gives a brief font swap; optional reduces jumps but sometimes will not show the custom font; we pick a reasonable balance for your case.
