Indexation audit
We check what is actually in the search engines' index: which important pages are NOT indexed and why, what junk got into the index for nothing, whether there is index bloat and crawl-budget waste, and what the Yandex.Webmaster and Google Search Console reports show — and build a plan. Honestly — an audit finds the causes of indexing problems, but you cannot force a search engine to index pages: we remove the barriers, while the decision stays with the search engine.
Indexation audit — overview

An indexation audit is a one-time check of how your site is represented in the index of Yandex and Google: which needed pages are not in the index and why (blocked by robots/noindex, canonicalized to others, not found, duplicates, low quality), what junk got into the index for nothing (service, technical, parameter pages), whether there is index bloat and crawl-budget waste on unnecessary things, what the coverage reports in Search Console and Webmaster show (excluded / crawled but not indexed / errors), and how robots, noindex, canonical and the sitemap relate in this picture. The goal is to understand why the needed pages are not indexed while the unnecessary ones are, and to give a prioritized plan. Honestly about the main point: this is diagnosis, not a guarantee of indexing or ranking growth. We identify and prioritize barriers (technical blocks, duplicates, low quality) and recommend how to remove them; the removal itself is separate work — we do not fix them within the audit. And the final decision on what and when to index is made by the search engine under its own closed rules; "we will index all pages" or "+rankings" cannot be promised. Important: sometimes a page is not indexed not because of an "error" but because the engine deemed it not valuable enough — then it is not a technical issue but the content itself. It is a snapshot in time: the index constantly changes. Access to Search Console and Webmaster helps a lot — they show the real statuses; without access — an assessment by the search results (the site: operator) and public data, which is less accurate. For large sites, external crawling of the whole volume is discussed separately — there may be technical and licensing limits of the tools. What you get: a report with indexing problems by priority (what is not indexed and why, what is in the index unnecessarily) and recommendations; the prioritized plan is a list of the problems found with recommendations and an impact estimate, while an implementation roadmap and the fixes themselves are separate work. If the site is small and fully indexed, we will honestly say the audit is excessive. Picture this: instead of "we are poorly visible in search" you learn that 60% of important product cards are "crawled but not indexed" due to thin content, while thousands of filter pages got into the index. The base price starts from 9,000 ₽; it depends on the site size.
Problems we solve
- Important pages do not appear in search.
- There are many junk or service pages in the index.
- You do not understand the coverage reports in Search Console or Webmaster.
- A large site, and it is unclear what is actually in the index.
What's included in the Indexation audit service
- What is in the Yandex and Google index versus what should be
- Important pages not indexed: causes (robots/noindex/canonical/duplicates/quality)
- Junk in the index: service, technical, parameter pages
- Index bloat and crawl-budget waste
- Analysis of coverage reports in Search Console and Webmaster
- How robots, noindex, canonical and the sitemap interact in the indexing picture
- Signals that the cause is content quality, not technical
- A prioritized report with problems and recommendations
What you get
- Clear understanding of what is not indexed and why, and what is in the index unnecessarily
- Priorities: what to fix so the needed pages get indexed
- Recommendations for removing barriers (implementation is separate)
- Understanding where it is technical, where duplicates, and where content quality
How the work goes: steps
- We clarify the structure and collect access (Search Console/Webmaster — desirable)
- We compare the index with what is needed and analyze the coverage reports and causes
- We prepare a prioritized report with a plan and review it with you

FAQ
Will everything be indexed and rankings grow after the audit?
No. The audit finds and helps remove barriers, but you cannot force a search engine to index pages — it decides on its own under its rules. And indexing is not the same as rankings: a page can be in the index but not at the top. We give no guarantees.
Why is an important page "crawled but not indexed"?
A common cause is that the engine deemed it not valuable enough (thin or duplicate content), or there are technical signals (canonical to another, low quality, crawl budget). We will determine the cause and advise what to do, but it may be a content question, not only technical.
Is access to Search Console and Webmaster needed?
Very desirable: they show the real indexing statuses and exclusion reasons. Without access we will assess by the site: operator and public data — this is less accurate, and some causes will not be visible, we will note that honestly.
