International couriers

International couriers (integration of international delivery services) is the connection of DHL, FedEx, UPS and other carriers for shipping orders abroad. We set up cost and time calculation, the creation of customs documents (commercial invoice, HS (product) codes), an estimate of duties and taxes, label printing and tracking. A buyer abroad sees the options and the price, while you process an international parcel without manual paperwork. Importantly and honestly about customs, and this is the key difference from domestic delivery: an international parcel goes through customs clearance. We will help create the documents and show a duty estimate (based on the declared product data), but the final duty and import taxes are determined by the destination country’s customs, not us and not a calculator — the result may differ, and the times at the border are also outside our control. Who pays the duty — the recipient or you (DDP/DDU schemes) — we will set up by your choice, but that is a commercial decision; note that the prepaid-duty (DDP) scheme is not available for every country and carrier — we will check it for your destinations. Rates and times, as with the Russian services, are taken from the carrier’s API: we show what it returns, we do not set the prices and do not guarantee the times. Each service is your own separate contract and account. Also honestly: the lists of goods prohibited and restricted for import, export restrictions and sanctioned destinations are your area of responsibility; what can be shipped and where — check with a customs broker or lawyer, we do not provide customs consulting. Returns and undelivered international parcels are expensive and slow — it is worth planning for that in advance. If you ship abroad rarely or almost everything is domestic, a separate international integration may be excessive, and we will honestly say so. Picture this: an order from another country — the system calculates DHL delivery, prepares an invoice with HS (product) codes, shows an approximate duty, prints a label and gives a tracking number, while the parcel travels through customs. The base price starts from 40,000 ₽; it depends on the number of services, the customs logic and your platform.

• Will you calculate the exact duty?

  Only an approximate one. We will show an estimate of duties and taxes so the buyer is not surprised, but the final amount is determined by the destination country’s customs — it may differ. The exact rules and rates are with a customs broker; we do not provide customs consulting, we do the calculation and the documents.

• Who is responsible for the times and customs?

  The carrier is responsible for the delivery and the times, the country’s customs for clearance at the border. We show the carrier’s time and the tracking, but delays at customs are outside our control and the service’s control. What can be imported and what the restrictions are is your responsibility — check with a broker or lawyer.

• Do we need international delivery separately?

  If you ship abroad regularly — yes, it removes the manual paperwork with customs and calculation. If almost everything is domestic or you ship abroad a couple of times a year, a point solution may be enough, and we will not push it. We will honestly assess it for your volume and destinations.
