Maps integration
Maps integration adds an interactive map with an address marker, a route and, for a chain, a choice of the nearest branch. The client immediately sees where you are and how to get there.
Maps integration — overview

Maps integration is an interactive map on the site (Yandex Maps, Google Maps or 2GIS) with a marker of your address, pop-up information (phone, hours), a “build a route” button and, for a chain, a choice of the nearest point. For delivery, you can show the zones right on the map. This is more convenient than a static image: the client builds a route in one click and immediately understands how far you are. The source is per the task and the audience: for Russia it is usually Yandex Maps or 2GIS (more familiar and more accurate within Russia), for abroad — Google Maps. If the chain covers both Russia and abroad — you can combine: Yandex/2GIS for Russia and Google for the rest on one page. Honestly about limits and keys: maps work through the platform’s API that has a key and limits. A rough guide for Google: the free credit is enough for about 25-28 thousand map loads a month, after that it is charged by the number of loads (Google’s rates change periodically, we verify the exact figure before launch); Yandex has its own terms and a free limit with attribution. For an ordinary site the free limit is almost always enough; if the traffic is high or there are many features (clustered markers, heavy layers), we will mention the possible charge in advance. About the free iframe, honestly: you can insert a ready Yandex/Google constructor, and for one marker that is often enough. Paying for implementation is worth it when you need routes, several points with finding the nearest, delivery zones, your own info card and tidy work on mobile. Picture this: a contacts page — a map with the office marker, “how to get there” in one click, and for a chain of stores — finding the nearest one in the city. The base price starts from 10,000 ₽ for a map of one address with a marker and a route; a chain of points with finding the nearest or delivery by zones is estimated individually.
Problems we solve
- There is only a text address on the site — it is hard for the client to understand where you are and how to get there.
- A chain has many points — a person does not find the one nearest to them.
- Delivery works by zones, but there is nowhere to show them — confusion about “will you deliver”.
- A static map image is non-interactive — you cannot build a route.

FAQ
Which maps to choose — Yandex, Google or 2GIS?
For Russia it is usually Yandex Maps or 2GIS — they are more familiar and more accurate within Russia, especially for routes and organizations. Google Maps — if a foreign audience matters. If you have points both in Russia and abroad — you can combine two systems on one page. We will choose by your audience and task.
Do you have to pay for the map?
Maps work through an API with a key and limits. Roughly: Google’s free credit is enough for about 25-28 thousand map loads a month, after that it is charged by the number of loads (rates change periodically, we verify before launch); Yandex has its own terms and a free limit with attribution. For an ordinary site the free limit is almost always enough; with high traffic or heavy features we will warn about the charge in advance, without surprises.
Do you need a complex map or is a marker enough?
If you just need to show one address, sometimes a free iframe constructor or a static map image is enough — we will say so honestly. Paid implementation is justified when there are routes, several points with finding the nearest, delivery zones or your own info card. We will advise what is more reasonable in your case.
