Web server tuning (Nginx / Apache / Caddy)

Web server tuning is a project: we analyze the config and load, set the number of workers/processes and connections for CPU/RAM, keep-alive, buffers and timeouts, gzip/brotli, correct cache headers, limits, HTTP/2-3 and TLS, and rate limiting if needed. Honestly about limits, this is key: tuning unlocks the potential of existing hardware and removes config bottlenecks, but does NOT create resources from thin air — on a weak VPS or under genuinely high load the ceiling is bounded by CPU/RAM/channel, and beyond that a hardware upgrade/scaling is needed (separate). Honestly about the boundary: the server serves responses fast, but if the application or DB itself is slow — that is cured by code/query/cache optimization (separate services), not by Nginx tuning; server tuning does not replace them. Honestly about risk: wrong parameters can lead to failures/memory overload — we change carefully, test under load, keep rollback. Honestly about the platform: access to the server/config is needed; on managed/shared hosting tuning is limited — we honestly say what is available. Honestly about business: stability and response speed improve, we do NOT guarantee sales growth by itself. An important boundary: this is web server tuning, not application/DB optimization (717-720), not a CDN (713) and not migration/hardware upgrade. If the server is already well tuned, the benefit is small. Picture this: instead of 'the server crashes at peaks and responds slowly' — stable operation and a fast response within your hardware. The base price starts from 15,000 ₽ per project; it depends on the server and stack.

• Will server tuning make any site fast?

• Will it speed up a slow application?

  No. The server serves responses fast, but if the application or DB itself is slow — that is code/query/cache optimization (separate services). Nginx tuning does not replace them; we often work in combination.

• Is it safe for a live site?

  Wrong parameters can lead to failures or memory overload, so we change carefully, test under load and keep rollback. On managed/shared hosting some settings are unavailable — we say so honestly.
