Product comparison implementation
With product comparison, your buyers can quickly see the differences between models side by side in one table — making their decision faster, with no jumping between tabs.
Product comparison implementation — overview

Product comparison implementation is an “add to compare” button and a table where the selected products stand side by side by their specs: sizes, parameters, price, availability. The buyer adds 2-4 models and sees them side by side, with the differences highlighted — no need to jump between tabs and keep everything in mind. It suits products with many specs: electronics, home appliances, tools, cars, tariffs. Unlike favorites (see the “Wishlist / favorites implementation” service), which is about “save for later”, comparison is about “choosing here and now from several”. In practice the two complement each other: a person sets aside five models in favorites, then puts three of them into comparison and chooses one. Honestly about the data: for launch you need a full and uniform list of specs for all models (the same parameters everywhere) — without it comparison simply will not work, and this is the main effort of the project; you mostly do it, we help with the format, structure and verification. And it pays off where the product really has many specs; for a simple product without parameters there is nothing to compare, and we will say so. Honestly about price and ready modules: a typical plugin (roughly 3-10 thousand ₽) puts a standard table “as is”; from 18,000 ₽ it is designing the table for your catalog, choosing and adapting the parameters, highlighting differences and preparing the data. If a standard module is enough for you, we will say so. Picture this: a buyer is choosing between three laptops — adds them to comparison, sees the screen, memory and weight side by side, the differences are marked, and decides faster. The base price starts from 18,000 ₽; it depends on the number of specs and the table design.
Problems we solve
- The product has many specs — the buyer gets confused jumping between cards and tabs.
- It is hard to choose between similar models — it is unclear what exactly they differ in.
- The client leaves “to think” and does not return — the choice is too hard.
- Managers waste time explaining the difference between models by voice.
What's included in the Product comparison implementation service
- An “add to compare” button on the card and in the catalog
- A comparison table for your catalog: products side by side by their specs
- Highlighting of differences — what differs is visible at once
- Choosing 2-4 and more products, removing from the comparison
- Responsive — a convenient comparison table on a phone
- Help with the format and verification of the spec data (you mostly fill it in)
- Integration with the catalog and the card, moving from comparison to the cart
What you get
- The buyer chooses faster — the differences are visible at once, without jumping between tabs
- Less “I will go and think” — the decision is easier to make on the spot
- It can raise conversion in contested categories — comparison helps remove choice paralysis (depends on data quality and the audience)
- Fewer questions to the manager “how is X different from Y” — the table answers itself
How the work goes: steps
- You leave a request and describe the products and specs
- We agree the set of parameters, design the table, prepare the data
- We implement comparison, highlighting, responsiveness; test and launch
Why PDV Expert

FAQ
How is comparison different from favorites?
Favorites (see the “Wishlist / favorites implementation” service) is about “save for later”, setting aside what you liked. Comparison is about “choosing now from several”: putting 2-4 models side by side and seeing the difference in specs. They often work together: a person sets aside several in favorites, then compares three of them and buys one.
What do you need from me for comparison?
A full and uniform list of specs for all models — the same parameters everywhere (screen, memory, weight, etc.). Without it the table will have gaps and comparison will not work — this is the main effort, and you mostly do it. We help with the format, structure and verification, but the data itself is on your side.
What if my products have few specs?
Then comparison probably is not needed — there is nothing to compare, and a two-row table will not help. It pays off on products with many parameters (electronics, appliances, tools). For a simple product it is better to invest in something else, and we will honestly say so rather than sell the unnecessary.
