APM (Application Performance Monitoring) setup

APM setup is a service with an initial setup and monthly operation: we connect an agent/SDK to your application and configure performance data collection from the inside — response time per endpoint, request traces (where exactly time goes), slow queries to the database and external services, errors and exceptions in context, resource consumption, dynamics across releases. We assemble it into dashboards with alerts on degradation. Unlike external speed measurements, APM shows WHY it is slow — at the code and infrastructure level. Honestly about requirements: access to the code/server is needed to install the agent; APM runs through a third-party platform with its pricing, and the platform cost (often noticeable and dependent on data volume/hosts) is usually separate — we warn in advance. Honestly about the method: APM usually uses sampling (analyzes a portion of requests, not all), so rare one-off problems can be missed; and the agent itself adds slight overhead — we tune the balance of detail and load. Honestly about the essence: this is diagnosis and alerting, NOT optimization and NOT fixing — APM shows the bottlenecks and gives facts, but rewriting queries, editing code and scaling infrastructure is done by your team or by us separately; a speed gain is not guaranteed by the fact of monitoring. Coverage is the instrumented services; someone must react to an alert. An important boundary: this is APM setup and operation (performance from the inside), not error tracking (errors — adjacent, separate), not external speed/Core Web Vitals measurements (from the user side — separate), not load testing and not the optimization itself. For a simple site with no server-side logic APM is overkill — external speed monitoring is enough. The base price starts from 20,000 ₽ per month (includes setup and monthly operation; the third-party platform cost is separate).

• Will the app become faster after APM?
