AppMetrica (mobile analytics)

We embed AppMetrica into your mobile app (iOS and Android): installs, sessions, events, funnels, crash reports and ad analytics. Honestly — this is analytics for apps, not for a website, and install attribution on iOS is limited by privacy.

Price
$6,000
Duration
usually from 1 to 3 weeks (plus the store review time for the update)

AppMetrica (mobile analytics) — overview

AppMetrica (mobile analytics) — price, timeline & scope

AppMetrica is a free mobile-analytics system (by Yandex) for iOS and Android apps. We embed its SDK into your app and set up collection: installs and launches, sessions and retention, events and funnels (sign-up, purchase, target actions), crash reports, and analytics of ad campaigns and install sources. Honestly about the main point: this is analytics specifically for a mobile app. If you have no app and only a website, AppMetrica is not needed — for a site you use Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics (see "Analytics integrations"). Embedding the SDK requires access to the app code and a new build: for analytics to work, the app must be rebuilt and an update released to the App Store and Google Play, and store review (especially Apple) takes time and depends not on us. Data is not collected 100%: a user can refuse collection, and on iOS tracking and install attribution are limited by Apple privacy — the ATT (App Tracking Transparency) prompt and SKAdNetwork give an aggregated, partial picture: for most iOS users only aggregated campaign attribution (source and time) is available, with no link to a specific user — Apple deliberately limits the exact "ad → install" link. So we provide the fullest attribution within the platforms’ rules, but cannot promise it is perfect. AppMetrica itself is free; our price is for the SDK integration and event setup. You can also set it up yourself if you have iOS/Android developers; you pay for the expert setup of events and funnels and for the data being collected correctly. Note: later changes to the app code can break event collection — keeping it in sync with the analytics is quoted separately and is not included in the starting price. Collecting user data is regulated (152-FZ, store and Apple/Google policies): consent and a correct policy are needed — that is on you, we help technically. AppMetrica is a Yandex service: if the app’s audience is outside the RF/EAEU, note possible availability and compliance limits (for example, GDPR in the EU) — for a foreign audience Firebase is sometimes more practical, and we will honestly advise. And honestly about the boundary: AppMetrica is about a mobile app; for a website it is web analytics (Metrica/GA), for managing site tags it is GTM; alongside it there is Firebase Analytics (also mobile) — we pick for your stack and region honestly. If the app has almost no audience or you are just launching, deep analytics and attribution are excessive — start with basic events, and we will say so. Picture this: you launch an app ad campaign and see not just the number of installs but how many reached the first purchase, and where people drop off in sign-up — and you fix exactly that screen. The base price starts from 30,000 ₽; it depends on the number of events, the platforms (iOS/Android) and your app.

Problems we solve

  • You do not know how many app installs actually turn into customers.
  • You cannot see at which screen people drop sign-up or purchase.
  • The app ad campaign runs, but it is unclear which sources pay off.
  • The app crashes for some users, and you learn it from reviews.

What's included in the AppMetrica (mobile analytics) service

  • Embedding the AppMetrica SDK into the app (iOS and/or Android)
  • Collecting installs, sessions, retention and events
  • Funnels of target actions: sign-up, purchase, key steps
  • Crash reports and stability
  • Analytics of ad campaigns and install sources (within platform rules)
  • The ATT consent prompt on iOS and highlighting 152-FZ requirements
  • Event documentation and a check of collection correctness
  • An honest assessment of whether you need mobile analytics at your stage

What you get

  • You see the user path: install → sign-up → purchase
  • You understand which install sources pay off (within iOS limits)
  • Crashes are visible at once, not from store reviews
  • It is clear where the tech ends and platform privacy, your base and consent begin

How the work goes: steps

  • We clarify the platforms, key events and ad sources
  • We embed the SDK, set up events, funnels and the ATT consent
  • We verify collection on a build, and help release the update to the stores

FAQ

  • Do I need an app for this?

Yes. AppMetrica is analytics for mobile iOS and Android apps. If you have only a website, it is not needed — for a site you use Yandex Metrica or Google Analytics. We will honestly say if mobile analytics is not required in your case yet.

  • Will it really show which ad brought an install?

Partly. On Android attribution is fuller, while on iOS Apple deliberately limits tracking: an ATT prompt is required, and install sources come aggregated via SKAdNetwork. We set up the fullest attribution within the rules, but the exact "ad → install" link on iOS cannot be promised — that is an Apple limit, not our setup.

  • Is it paid and how fast does it work?

AppMetrica itself is free; you pay for our SDK integration and event setup. For analytics to work, the app must be rebuilt and an update released — the App Store and Google Play review takes time and depends on the stores, not on us.
