Competitor monitoring

We regularly track what changes at your competitors: prices and promotions, new products and pages, edits to key landing pages, changes in offers and terms. We compile a digest and send an alert about significant changes so you react in time rather than learning last. Honestly upfront: this is observation of publicly available information and alerting, not intelligence on their internal data and not a ready strategy — what to do with the observations is up to you.

Competitor monitoring — overview

Competitor monitoring — price, timeline & scope

Competitor monitoring is an ongoing (monthly) service: for an agreed list of competitors and pages we regularly record changes visible from the outside — prices and discounts, products appearing/disappearing, edits to key pages (homepage, pricing, landing pages), new promotions and offers, notable positioning changes. We keep a history and send a digest + an alert about significant changes. Honestly about coverage: we see only publicly available information (what a competitor shows on their site and in open sources). We do NOT get their internal data — real sales, margin, conversion, traffic, agreements — and do not bypass closed/protected sections; all of that is out of view, and any estimates from indirect signs are assumptions, not facts. Honestly about the essence: this is collection and alerting, NOT analyzing strategy for you and NOT a guarantee of "insights" — we show what changed, while the conclusions and decisions (whether to change a price, launch a promotion) are made by you or your marketer; a review can be done separately if needed. Data is captured at intervals, so very short promotions between captures can be missed; dynamic and personalized prices may display inaccurately. Coverage is only the configured competitors and pages; new ones are added together. An important boundary: this is monitoring of public changes, not intelligence on closed data, not legally sensitive collection and not marketing strategy. If there are few competitors and you already watch them manually, continuous monitoring may be overkill. Picture this: instead of "a competitor lowered prices and launched a promotion two weeks ago and you found out after losing some orders" you get an alert on the day of the change and decide whether to react. The base price starts from 12,000 ₽ per month; it depends on the number of competitors and pages.

Problems we solve

  • You learn about competitors' price and promotion changes last.
  • You fail to react in time to new offers and products.
  • Watching several competitors manually is slow and inconsistent.
  • There is no change history to see market trends.

FAQ

  • Will you find out their real sales, margin and traffic?

No. We see only publicly available information — what a competitor shows on their site and in open sources. Internal data (sales, margin, conversion, traffic) is not available to us, and estimates from indirect signs are assumptions, not facts. We do not bypass closed sections.

  • Will you give a ready strategy from the results?

The monitoring itself is collection and alerting about changes, not a strategy. What to do with the observations (change a price, launch a promotion) is decided by you or your marketer; a review and recommendations can be done separately.

  • Will you catch any short promotion?

Not necessarily. Data is captured at intervals, so very short promotions between captures can be missed; dynamic and personalized prices may also display inaccurately. The more frequent the capture, the lower the chance of missing one.
