Conversion audit

We examine why you have traffic but few requests and sales: the funnel, key pages, forms, the offer, calls to action, trust and goal analytics — and build prioritized hypotheses to test. Honestly — an audit finds where conversions are lost, but it does not raise them by itself: growth comes from implementing and testing hypotheses, and conversion depends on more than the site.

Conversion audit — overview

Conversion audit — price, timeline & scope

A conversion audit (CRO) is a one-time analysis of how visitors turn (or do not) into requests and purchases: where the biggest losses are in the funnel, how clear and convincing the key pages are, whether forms and checkout are convenient, whether the offer and calls to action are clear, whether there are enough trust elements, and whether goals and events in analytics are set up correctly. The goal is to find the loss points and build prioritized hypotheses for growth. Honestly about the main point: this is diagnosis, not implementation and not a guarantee of conversion growth. Conversion depends on more than the page: it is affected by traffic quality and intent, the offer and price, brand trust, season and competition. So the recommendations are hypotheses verified by A/B tests, not "we will raise conversion by X%". And importantly about statistics: to reliably test a hypothesis you need enough traffic and conversions; on low traffic tests either run very long or give no significant result — we will say so honestly if that is your case. The audit is more accurate with access to analytics (Metrica/GA4), click maps and session recordings; without access we limit ourselves to an external review — we will not see some problems and segments, and we will say so honestly. It is a snapshot in time: the site, traffic and market change. We do not promise to "guarantee +X% conversion". What you get: a report with loss points by priority, reasoned hypotheses and a test plan; implementing and running A/B tests is separate work. If traffic is low or the product/offer is raw, we will honestly say it is worth solving that first rather than doing fine optimization. Picture this: instead of "conversion is low" you learn that 60% drop off at the shipping step where the price is not shown, and the page has neither reviews nor guarantees — and you understand what to test first. The base price starts from 18,000 ₽; it depends on the funnel complexity.

Problems we solve

  • Traffic comes but there are few requests and sales — it is unclear where you lose them.
  • You do not know what to test first.
  • You change the site by gut feeling, without hypotheses and priorities.
  • Ads bring people but they leave without buying.

What's included in the Conversion audit service

  • Funnel analysis: where the biggest losses are by step
  • Key pages: clarity, persuasiveness, offer, calls to action
  • Forms and checkout: barriers, extra fields, errors
  • Trust elements: reviews, guarantees, cases, contacts
  • Correctness of goals and events in analytics (Metrica/GA4)
  • Segments: where conversion drops (devices, sources, pages)
  • Prioritized hypotheses for A/B tests
  • An honest assessment of whether traffic is enough for reliable tests

What you get

  • Clear understanding of which steps you lose conversions at
  • Priority hypotheses: what to test first
  • A verification plan (implementation and A/B tests are separate)
  • Understanding where the problem is in the site and where in traffic or the offer

How the work goes: steps

  • We clarify goals, the funnel, traffic sources and collect access (analytics, maps, recordings)
  • We analyze the funnel, pages, forms, trust and goal correctness
  • We prepare a report with loss points and priority hypotheses and review it with you

FAQ

  • Will conversion grow after the audit?

The audit itself does not raise it — it finds loss points and gives hypotheses. Growth comes from implementing and testing hypotheses via A/B tests, and conversion also depends on traffic, the offer and price. We cannot promise "+X% conversion" — we will honestly show the priorities.

  • What if I have little traffic?

Then we will say honestly: reliably testing hypotheses will be hard — on low traffic tests run very long or give no significant result. For example, at 70 orders a month a test can drag on for 2–3 months, while at 700 it takes about two weeks. On very low traffic you will get priority hypotheses, but a full A/B program is not worthwhile — sometimes it is better to grow traffic or fix the offer first.

  • How is this different from a UX audit?

A UX audit is broader: the overall convenience and usability of the whole site. In a conversion audit we look only at the barriers that block a request or purchase specifically, not the general user experience — the focus is the funnel, losses and hypotheses for growing conversion. They complement each other, but they are different services.
