DOM audit (AI-parser readiness)
We check how understandable your site's structure (HTML/DOM) is to automated parsers and AI systems: clean semantic markup, heading hierarchy, content availability without running JavaScript, machine-readability of data — and build a prioritized plan. Honestly — an audit prepares the site to be read correctly, but it does not guarantee that AI systems will cite you: how they choose sources is undisclosed and constantly changing.
DOM audit (AI-parser readiness) — overview

A DOM audit is a one-time technical check of how suitable your page structure (DOM, HTML) is for automated reading by parsers, search and AI systems: whether semantic markup is used (headings, lists, tables, article/section/nav) or everything is dumped into divs, whether the heading hierarchy (H1-H6) is correct, whether the main content is available without running JavaScript (many parsers do not execute JS or execute it in a limited way), whether there is duplicate or hidden content, code cleanliness and validity, and the presence of machine-readable data. The goal is to remove technical barriers that prevent your content from being read correctly and to give a prioritized plan. Honestly about the main point: this is structure diagnosis, not development and not a guarantee that AI answers will start citing you or that rankings will rise. Good structure helps machines understand the content correctly, but appearing in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI overviews of Yandex and Google) depends on many factors — authority, freshness, the content itself — and on their closed, constantly changing algorithms that no one controls. Clean structure is only a basic condition for machine accessibility, not a guarantee of correct parsing or of appearing in answers. We model how parsers and AI perceive the page with specialized tools (headless browsers, validators) — this is an approximation of their real reading, not an exact copy. Without access to the code or CMS the audit is limited to external scanning, and some internal problems may not be visible — we will say so honestly. It is a snapshot in time: both the site and AI systems' approaches change. Important about boundaries: this is the technical layer (DOM structure); Schema.org markup and overall AI-search visibility are adjacent but separate services (a structured-data audit and an AI-search audit). What you get: a report with technical barriers by priority (semantics, headings, JS dependency, code cleanliness) and recommendations; implementing the fixes is separate developer work. If the site is simple and on clean HTML, we will honestly say there is almost nothing to improve. Picture this: instead of "AI does not see us" you learn that the main text is loaded by a script and the parser sees an empty block, and the whole structure is nested divs without a single heading. The base price starts from 15,000 ₽; it depends on the site type and the stack.
Problems we solve
- You want search engines and AI systems to read your content correctly.
- You have content but suspect machines "see" the site incorrectly.
- The site is on a heavy JS framework and it is unclear if the content is available to parsers.
- You are preparing for AI search and want to build the right structure.
What's included in the DOM audit (AI-parser readiness) service
- Semantic HTML markup (headings, lists, tables, article/section/nav)
- H1-H6 heading hierarchy and structural logic
- Content availability without running JavaScript (what the parser sees)
- Duplicate, hidden or script-loaded content
- Code cleanliness, validity and readability
- Machine-readability of key data
- Technical barriers for parsers and AI systems
- A prioritized report with problems and recommendations
What you get
- Clear understanding of what stops machines from reading the site correctly
- Priorities: which barriers to remove first
- Structure recommendations (implementation is separate)
- Understanding where it is structure technicals and where content and authority
How the work goes: steps
- We clarify the key pages and collect access (to code/CMS where possible)
- We check the DOM, semantics, JS dependency and machine-readability
- We prepare a prioritized report with recommendations and review it with you
Why PDV Expert
- Fixed price and timeline — no surprises on the invoice.
- Report and recommendations in plain language — clear without a technical background.
- In touch at every step and answering questions about the result.
FAQ
Will AI and ChatGPT start citing us after the audit?
It cannot be guaranteed. The audit removes technical barriers so machines read your content correctly, but appearing in AI answers depends on authority, freshness, the content itself and the closed algorithms of AI systems. We prepare the structure, we do not buy a place in the answers.
How is this different from a structured-data audit and an AI-search audit?
A DOM audit is about the technical page structure (semantics, headings, content availability to a parser). A structured-data audit is about Schema.org/JSON-LD. An AI-search audit is about overall AI-search visibility. They complement each other, but they are different services.
Will this raise rankings in regular search?
Indirectly, clean structure helps regular SEO too, but it is only one factor, and the DOM audit itself does not guarantee positions. If you need SEO as a whole, that is a separate audit — we will honestly point you there.
