A DOM audit is a one-time technical check of how suitable your page structure (DOM, HTML) is for automated reading by parsers, search and AI systems: whether semantic markup is used (headings, lists, tables, article/section/nav) or everything is dumped into divs, whether the heading hierarchy (H1-H6) is correct, whether the main content is available without running JavaScript (many parsers do not execute JS or execute it in a limited way), whether there is duplicate or hidden content, code cleanliness and validity, and the presence of machine-readable data. The goal is to remove technical barriers that prevent your content from being read correctly and to give a prioritized plan. Honestly about the main point: this is structure diagnosis, not development and not a guarantee that AI answers will start citing you or that rankings will rise. Good structure helps machines understand the content correctly, but appearing in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI overviews of Yandex and Google) depends on many factors — authority, freshness, the content itself — and on their closed, constantly changing algorithms that no one controls. Clean structure is only a basic condition for machine accessibility, not a guarantee of correct parsing or of appearing in answers. We model how parsers and AI perceive the page with specialized tools (headless browsers, validators) — this is an approximation of their real reading, not an exact copy. Without access to the code or CMS the audit is limited to external scanning, and some internal problems may not be visible — we will say so honestly. It is a snapshot in time: both the site and AI systems' approaches change. Important about boundaries: this is the technical layer (DOM structure); Schema.org markup and overall AI-search visibility are adjacent but separate services (a structured-data audit and an AI-search audit). What you get: a report with technical barriers by priority (semantics, headings, JS dependency, code cleanliness) and recommendations; implementing the fixes is separate developer work. • How is this different from a structured-data audit and an AI-search audit?

  A DOM audit is about the technical page structure (semantics, headings, content availability to a parser). A structured-data audit is about Schema.org/JSON-LD. An AI-search audit is about overall AI-search visibility. They complement each other, but they are different services.

• Will this raise rankings in regular search?

  Indirectly, clean structure helps regular SEO too, but it is only one factor, and the DOM audit itself does not guarantee positions. If you need SEO as a whole, that is a separate audit — we will honestly point you there.
