Structured data audit (Schema.org / JSON-LD)

We check your site's structured data (Schema.org, JSON-LD): which types are marked up, whether it is correct, whether there are errors, whether the markup matches the visible content and whether there is potential for rich snippets — and build a prioritized plan. Honestly — an audit finds markup errors and missed opportunities, but it does not guarantee rich snippets: whether to show them is decided by search engines under their own rules.

Structured data audit (Schema.org / JSON-LD) — overview

Structured data audit (Schema.org / JSON-LD) — price, timeline & scope

A structured data audit is a one-time check of your site's structured data (Schema.org, usually in JSON-LD): which entities and types are marked up (Organization, Product, Article, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, Review, etc.) and which are missing, syntax correctness, required and recommended fields, errors and warnings from validators, the match of the markup to the content actually visible on the page (this matters: marking up something that is not on the page is against the rules and can lead to penalties), potential for rich results and type support by different search engines. The goal is to clean up the markup and unlock missed opportunities. Honestly about the main point: this is diagnosis, not markup implementation and not a guarantee of rich snippets. Correct markup increases the chances of rich results, but whether to show them is decided by the search engine (Google, Yandex) under its own closed rules; it may not show a snippet even with perfect markup, and it may show one and remove it later. We cannot promise "stars or FAQ in the results". Different search engines support different types — we account for that in the recommendations. Without access to the code or CMS only a partial external scan is possible — full verification needs technical access, and we will say so honestly. And one more thing: the absence of validator errors does not equal a shown snippet — validators give a technical check but do not catch everything and do not guarantee the result. It is a snapshot in time: both the site and search engines' type support change. What you get: a report with markup errors and gaps by priority, a list of recommended types and a plan; implementing the markup is separate developer work. If the site is simple and markup is essentially not needed (no products, reviews, articles), we will honestly say there will be little benefit. Picture this: instead of "why do competitors have stars and we do not" you learn that you have no Product or Review markup at all, and the Organization required fields are empty, so the search engine ignores part of the data. The base price starts from 10,000 ₽; it depends on the number of page types.

Problems we solve

  • Competitors have stars, prices, FAQ in the results while you have plain links.
  • You do not know whether you have markup and whether it is correct.
  • A validator shows markup errors but it is unclear what is critical.
  • Before SEO promotion you want to clean up the structured data.

FAQ

  • Will we get stars and rich snippets after the audit?

It cannot be guaranteed. The audit finds errors and missed types and gives a plan; correct markup increases the chances, but whether to show a rich result is decided by the search engine under its own rules, and it may not show one even with perfect markup.

  • Can we mark up something that is not on the page to get a snippet?

No, that is against the rules: the markup must match the visible content. Spammy or false markup can lead to manual penalties and the loss of snippets. We do not recommend it.

  • How is this different from a DOM audit and an SEO audit?

A structured data audit is about structured data (Schema.org/JSON-LD). A DOM audit is about the technical HTML structure. An SEO audit is about promotion as a whole. They are adjacent, but they are different services.
