Image optimization
We optimize images: compression without visible quality loss, modern formats (WebP/AVIF), correct device sizes, lazy loading and responsive images. So pages weigh less and load faster, especially on mobile. Honestly upfront: this gives a real weight reduction and speedup, but the result is limited by source quality, CMS and third-party images, and sales growth by itself is not guaranteed.
Image optimization — overview

Image optimization is a project: we audit the images, set up compression (with a quality/weight balance), conversion to WebP/AVIF with a fallback, correct sizes and srcset for devices, lazy loading and prioritization of important images (LCP). Honestly about the effect: images are often the main page 'weight', so optimization usually gives a noticeable and measurable speedup (we show 'before/after' by weight/metrics) — the clearest win. Honestly about limits: the result is limited by source quality (you cannot squeeze ideal from a garbage original), CMS/template capabilities (markup cannot be changed everywhere) and third-party images (banners, widgets) we only partly control. Honestly about balance: compression is a quality/weight trade-off; you cannot 'compress to zero' without losing appearance, we pick a reasonable balance. Honestly about business: speedup helps UX and speed, but we do NOT guarantee conversion/sales growth by itself — it is part of the overall picture. Honestly about regression: new images uploaded without optimization will weigh the site down again — where possible we set up automation, otherwise discipline is needed. Honestly about access: access to files/CMS/code is needed. An important boundary: this is image optimization, not a CDN (713 — separate), not general speed optimization (706) and not redesign. If there are few light images, the benefit is small. Picture this: instead of an 8 MB page of heavy photos — light responsive images that load fast. The base price starts from 12,000 ₽ per project; it depends on the number of images and the CMS.
Problems we solve
- Heavy images slow down loading, especially on mobile.
- Images in outdated formats and wrong sizes.
- There is no lazy loading — everything loads at once.
- Large photos eat traffic and spoil speed metrics.

FAQ
Will image optimization raise sales?
Not directly guaranteed. It gives a real speedup and better UX/metrics, which is useful, but sales depend on many factors. It is a clear technical win, not a promise of revenue growth.
Can images be compressed with no quality loss at all?
Compression is always a quality/weight balance. You cannot squeeze 'to zero' without losing appearance; we pick a reasonable balance where the loss is invisible to the eye. You also cannot make ideal from a garbage original.
What about third-party images (banners, widgets)?
We only partly control those — they are external resources. We fully optimize your own images; for third-party ones we suggest what is possible (defer, limit), but fixing everything is not always realistic.
