Product card audit

We review your product cards through the buyer's eyes: is it clear from the first screen what it is and how much it costs, are there enough photos and specs to decide, are availability and delivery visible, is the "add to cart" button noticeable, do the reviews build trust. We find what stops people from deciding to buy and give a prioritized plan. Honestly — this is a review of the card, not a rebuild of it: the audit by itself does not bring more sales, that is verified by tests.

Product card audit — overview

Product card audit — price, timeline & scope

A product card audit is a one-time expert review of how a product card (PDP) is built and presented from the buyer's perspective: is it immediately clear what the product is and how much it costs, are there enough photos and can details be examined (zoom, angles, video), is the description structured and are the key specs visible without a long search, are availability, delivery time and cost and return terms clear, is the "add to cart" / "buy" button noticeable and clear, are there reviews and other trust signals, how are variants (size, color) and related products shown, and does everything look and work fine on a phone. Honestly about the main point: this is diagnosis, not design, development, copywriting or photography; and it is not a guarantee of a rise in sales or conversion. Sales depend not only on the card — also on price, assortment, demand, traffic and trust in the store. So the recommendations are reasoned hypotheses for A/B testing, not "we will raise conversion by X%". With access to analytics (how people behave on the cards, what they look at and where they leave) the review is deeper and relies on your numbers; without access it is an expert assessment of the cards — much is visible, but some problems remain unseen without analytics (for example, without it we will not see at which step of the card buyers most often leave). It is a snapshot in time: the assortment and the cards change. We usually review a representative sample of cards (typical category templates) rather than each of thousands — for example, with 1000+ products we take 3–5 typical cards per category — and transfer the conclusions to similar ones. You get a report with prioritized problems and recommendations; the design, copy, photos and markup are done separately or by your team. An important boundary: this is an audit of the product cards themselves, not an audit of the cart and checkout (separate) and not an audit of site search and catalog filters (how a buyer finds the product — separate) — those are adjacent but separate services. If there are very few products, a single card or none yet, there is almost nothing to analyze and you most likely do not need the audit. Picture this: instead of "people visit the cards but do not buy" you learn that the main photo is small and has no zoom, the specs are hidden in a tab, the price is visible but availability is not, and on a phone the "add to cart" button is two screens of scrolling down — and you see what to fix first. The base price starts from 12,000 ₽ (this is a manual expert review of a representative sample of cards with a detailed report and hypotheses, not an automated report); it depends on the number of card types and the complexity of the catalog.

FAQ

  • Will sales grow after the audit?

The audit itself does not raise them. The product card is only one of the factors (also price, assortment, demand, traffic, trust in the store). We find the weak spots and give hypotheses, but what will work is verified by A/B tests; growth is possible only after implementation and is not guaranteed.

  • Will you review every card out of thousands?

Usually no, and honestly that is more efficient: we review a representative sample — typical card templates by category — and transfer the conclusions to similar ones. If the cards differ a lot, we agree on the scope in advance.

  • Will you rewrite the copy and take photos?

No, that is separate work. The audit gives diagnosis and hypotheses: what to improve and why. The design, copywriting, photography and markup are done separately or handled by your team.
