Prototypes

We create interactive prototypes (e.g. in Figma): clickable mockups you can 'walk through' like a real product — to check logic, flows and usability BEFORE development. To catch problems and agree on decisions while changing is cheap. Honestly upfront: a prototype imitates the product but is NOT the real product — it has no real data, backend or real performance; it excellently checks logic and UX but does not replace development; and the prototype itself does not guarantee the product will 'land' — for that it must be tested on users (953).

Prototypes — overview

Prototypes — price, timeline & scope

A prototype is an interactive, clickable mockup of the product: screens are linked by transitions and states so you can go through the main scenarios as in a real app/site. The detail level ranges from simple linked wireframes to close to the final design. It is used to check logic and flows, demonstrate the idea, and — most importantly — for usability testing (953) before code is written. Honestly about 'this is not the real product', this is key: a prototype IMITATES the product but is not it. It has no real data (only prepared screens), no working backend and server-side logic, no real performance and real edge cases. It excellently checks FLOWS and UX (is it clear, convenient, do people find the path) but does not replace development and does not show how the product behaves with real data and load. Honestly about value: a prototype lets you catch logic and UX problems and agree on decisions while changing is CHEAP (changing a prototype is many times cheaper than reworking finished code). It is savings on rework, not an extra step. Honestly about 'no success guarantee': a beautiful clickable prototype by itself does not prove the product is usable or will 'land' — that must be CHECKED on real users (usability testing 953). A prototype is what is tested, not proof. Honestly about iterativeness: prototypes change based on discussions and tests — that is normal. Honestly about the effect: it reduces the risk of expensive development mistakes and gives a basis for testing, but it is a verification tool, not the final product. Honestly about access: wireframes/design and an understanding of scenarios are needed. An important boundary: this is a prototype; wireframes (structure) — 950; usability testing — 953; development — separate. Picture this: instead of 'wrote the code and found the logic is inconvenient' — checked on a clickable prototype in advance. The base price starts from 40,000 ₽ (depends on detail and the number of screens).

Problems we solve

  • Logic and usability are learned only after expensive development.
  • The idea is hard to show and agree on static mockups.
  • Nothing to test UX on before writing code.
  • Flows and transitions are not checked — problems surface late.

What's included in the Prototypes service

  • An interactive clickable prototype (Figma etc.)
  • Linked screens, transitions, states, main scenarios
  • A detail level for the task (from wireframes to close to final)
  • A basis for usability testing (953)
  • Honest boundaries (imitates the product, not real; no data/backend)
  • Indicating that success is verified by a test, not the prototype itself
  • A link with wireframes (950) and testing (953)
  • Handover and review with you

What you get

  • A clickable prototype to check logic and flows
  • Catching UX problems before expensive development
  • A basis for testing on users
  • Honest boundaries (imitation; does not replace development; not a success guarantee)

How the work goes: steps

  • We take wireframes/design and scenarios; assemble the prototype
  • We link screens and transitions for the main flows
  • We hand over for testing (953), honestly set boundaries with you

FAQ

  • Is a prototype already almost a finished product?

No, honestly: a prototype imitates the product but is not it. It has no real data (only prepared screens), working backend, real performance and real edge cases. It excellently checks flows and UX but does not replace development and does not show behavior with real data and load. It is a logic-verification tool, not the final product.

  • If the prototype is beautiful and clickable — does that mean the product is usable?

Not necessarily, honestly: a beautiful clickable prototype by itself does not prove usability or that the product will 'land'. That must be checked on real users — usability testing (953). A prototype is what is tested, not proof of usability. We make the prototype exactly for verification, and conclusions about usability come from a test on people, not from the mockup's beauty.

  • Why a prototype if you can just develop?

To not pay twice, honestly: catching logic and UX problems on a prototype is many times cheaper than reworking finished code. Changing a clickable mockup is fast; rewriting a developed feature is expensive and slow. A prototype is savings on rework and reduction of the risk of expensive mistakes, not an extra step. Especially for non-trivial products it is justified.
