Cookie banner with CMP
Cookie banner with CMP sets up a cookie consent banner and a consent management system: the visitor chooses what to allow, and analytics and ads do not load before consent. The site collects data legally and lowers the risk of fines; we cover the technical side, while the legal wording is best confirmed with a lawyer.
Cookie banner with CMP — overview

A cookie banner with CMP (Consent Management Platform) is not just a “We use cookies” bar, but a system that actually works: it asks for consent before loading trackers, lets you choose categories (necessary, analytics, marketing), stores the consent and allows it to be withdrawn. Before consent, analytics and ad scripts (Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, pixels) do not run — this is required by the GDPR/ePrivacy for EU traffic. In Russia the approach is different: cookies fall under Federal Law 152-FZ only partly, and the consent requirements are not identical to the European ones — we set it up for your audience. For Google ads and analytics in the EU you need Consent Mode v2 — we set that up too. We choose the CMP for the task: there are paid ones (Cookiebot, Usercentrics, OneTrust) with ready templates and cookie auto-scanning, and free/open-source ones (CookieYes free plan, Klaro). The paid ones charge a subscription, usually based on traffic (roughly a few euros per 1000 visitors a month) — a recurring cost on top of the implementation, which we mention in advance. Honestly: we implement the technical side, while the wording of the policy and the legal sufficiency are better agreed with a lawyer — EU and Russian requirements differ, and the technical part alone does not guarantee full compliance. Picture this: a visitor arrives, sees “Accept / Customize / Reject”, and analytics waits for their choice — the site collects data legally. The base price for our setup starts from 15,000 ₽; it depends on the CMP and the number of trackers, with the service subscription separate.
Problems we solve
- The site loads analytics and ads without consent — for the EU that violates the GDPR/ePrivacy, in Russia cookies are partly under 152-FZ; in both cases there is a risk of claims and fines.
- There is a “cookie” banner, but it is fake — it blocks nothing and provides no legal protection.
- Google ads requirements in the EU (Consent Mode v2) are not taken into account — data may not be collected or may break the rules.
- There is no storage and withdrawal of consents — it is impossible to prove that consent was obtained.

FAQ
How is a CMP different from an ordinary cookie banner?
An ordinary banner is a “We use cookies” bar that blocks nothing: analytics and ads load anyway, and it provides no legal protection. A CMP actually asks for consent before loading trackers, lets you choose categories, stores and allows withdrawal of consent — this is required by the GDPR for the EU; in Russia cookies are regulated differently (partly via Federal Law 152-FZ). A fake banner does not save you from claims.
Will this make my site legally “clean”?
Technically we cover the main things: blocking trackers before consent, categories, storage, Consent Mode — this lowers the risk but does not by itself guarantee full compliance. We are not lawyers: the privacy policy text and the sufficiency for your jurisdiction (EU and Russia have different requirements) are better agreed with a lawyer. We implement the requirements, a lawyer confirms the wording.
How much does a CMP cost afterwards?
Paid CMPs (Cookiebot, Usercentrics, OneTrust) charge a subscription — usually based on traffic, roughly a few euros per 1000 visitors a month; a recurring cost on top of the implementation. There are free ones (CookieYes free plan, open-source Klaro) — cheaper but with fewer features. We choose one for the traffic and budget and tell you about the recurring costs in advance.
