Core Web Vitals monitoring (real users + synthetic)

We continuously watch your site's Core Web Vitals — LCP, INP, CLS — both from real users and from synthetic runs. If after a deploy or over time the metrics regress on key pages, you get an alert before it hits users and rankings. Honestly upfront: this is ongoing observation that tracks and notifies about regressions — it does not speed up the site and does not optimize it for you; remediating the causes is separate work.

Core Web Vitals monitoring (real users + synthetic) — overview

Core Web Vitals monitoring (real users + synthetic) — price, timeline & scope

Core Web Vitals monitoring is an ongoing (monthly) service: we set up continuous tracking of the key speed and stability metrics — LCP (loading of the main content), INP (responsiveness to actions), CLS (visual stability) — on agreed page types. We collect data from two sides: field (from real users, RUM) and synthetic (regular lab runs in controlled conditions). We track the dynamics, compare against the "good / needs improvement / poor" thresholds, and send an alert on a regression — e.g. after a deploy LCP rose, or CLS suddenly jumped. Honestly about the essence: this is observation and alerting, NOT speeding up and NOT optimization — we show what regressed and when, but do not "fix" performance; remediating the causes (images, fonts, scripts, server, markup) is separate work, by your team or by us separately. Honestly about data: field metrics require enough real traffic — on sites with few visits the field data accumulates slowly or is almost absent, and then we rely mainly on synthetics, which are useful but not equal to real user experience. Field and lab values naturally differ (different devices, networks, conditions) — we account for that and do not pass one off as the other. And crucially: Core Web Vitals is a ranking factor, but monitoring does not guarantee a rise in rankings or traffic; it only helps you notice faster and not lose the speed you achieved. Coverage is only the configured page types; as the site changes we keep the list current together with you. Access is needed to install metric collection; someone must react to a regression alert. An important boundary: this is ongoing metric monitoring, not a one-time performance audit with an optimization plan (a separate service) and not the optimization itself. If the site is small, static and fast, with no active development and little traffic, continuous monitoring is probably overkill — a one-time check is enough. Picture this: instead of "the site seems slower after the redesign but it is unclear where" you get an alert that on product cards LCP rose from 2.1 to 4.3 seconds right after a deploy — and you know where to look. The base price starts from 9,000 ₽ per month; it depends on the number of pages and the volume of data.

Problems we solve

  • After a deploy the site may have become slower, but you notice it late.
  • You do not know your real Core Web Vitals for live users.
  • Rankings or behavior dropped and you suspect speed.
  • You optimized speed but are not sure it has not "drifted" back.

What's included in the Core Web Vitals monitoring (real users + synthetic) service

  • Tracking LCP, INP, CLS on agreed page types
  • Field data from real users (RUM)
  • Synthetic lab runs in controlled conditions
  • Comparison against the "good / needs improvement / poor" thresholds
  • Alerts on a metric regression (e.g. after a deploy)
  • Separation of field and lab data without substitution
  • Monthly continuous operation and dynamics
  • An alert channel of your choice (email, messenger, webhook)

What you get

  • You quickly learn about a speed drop, not from complaints or ranking loss
  • You see on which pages and which metric regressed and when
  • You know whether it is real user experience (field) or lab
  • Less chance of silently losing the speed you achieved (optimization — separate)

How the work goes: steps

  • We agree on page types, thresholds and the alert channel; collect access for metric collection
  • We set up collection of field (RUM) and synthetic data for LCP/INP/CLS
  • We track the dynamics, send regression alerts and review on a call

Why PDV Expert

  • In touch at every step and answering questions about the result.

FAQ

  • Will the site become faster and rankings rise after the monitoring?

The monitoring itself does not speed it up or move rankings. Core Web Vitals is a ranking factor, but monitoring only shows what regressed and when and helps you not lose what you achieved; speeding up (images, scripts, server, markup) is separate work, and a ranking rise cannot be guaranteed.

  • What if I have little traffic — will there be field data?

Field metrics (from real users) require enough traffic; with few visits the field data accumulates slowly or is almost absent. Then we rely mainly on synthetics — useful but not equal to real user experience, and we separate the two honestly.

  • Is this a subscription or a one-time check?

An ongoing service with monthly billing: we set up collection once, then the metrics are tracked continuously and alerts are sent. A one-time speed check with an optimization plan is a performance audit, a different format.
