Reverse-ETL
We set up reverse-ETL — syncing data from your warehouse (DWH) back into working tools: CRM, ad accounts, campaigns, support. Honestly — this is needed when you already have a warehouse and clean data; without them reverse-ETL has nothing to work from.
Reverse-ETL — overview

Reverse-ETL is the synchronization of data from an analytical warehouse (DWH: ClickHouse, BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres, etc.) back into business tools: CRM, ad systems, campaign services, support, billing. Where ordinary ETL collects data INTO the warehouse, reverse-ETL delivers ready calculations and segments FROM the warehouse to where people and campaigns work with them. We set up connectors (Hightouch, Census or custom), field mapping, sync scheduling, error handling and logging. Honestly about the main point: reverse-ETL is infrastructure on top of an existing warehouse. If you have no DWH with collected and clean data, reverse-ETL has nothing to sync — you first need a warehouse and order in the data (garbage in — garbage out, and in the tools too). It is not analytics or a CDP: reverse-ETL does not calculate or build profiles, it delivers what is already calculated; the data model and segments are built by you or by us separately. Sync is not instant by default: it runs on a schedule (hourly/daily) — enough for most tasks; near-real-time is possible but costlier and more complex and not always needed. Target tools have API limits: you cannot load millions of rows instantly, and there are quotas on the CRM/ad side — we account for that, but even so partial loads and silent failures can happen due to third-party quirks; we implement error and gap logging, yet no one guarantees 100% delivery. Sometimes the sync is more than an export: data must be reshaped to a specific tool’s format (joining, flattening fields); such transformation is a separate stage that affects budget and timeline. And legally: exporting personal data to foreign tools (especially under sanctions or outside RU jurisdiction) requires a check against 152-FZ and sanction limits — the risk is on the client. The connector platform is a subscription by sync volume, your cost; our price is for the setup. Customer data in the tools is personal data, consent and policy are on your side (152-FZ). If you have no warehouse or run data by hand in a couple of tables, reverse-ETL is premature; we will honestly say to start with a warehouse and analytics. Picture this: the warehouse has a "customers about to churn" segment calculated, and reverse-ETL sends it to the CRM and ad account by itself — managers and campaigns work with an up-to-date list without manual exports. The base price starts from 45,000 ₽; it depends on the number of tools, the data volume and the platform.
Problems we solve
- Data is calculated in the warehouse, but reaches the CRM and ads by hand.
- Managers work with old lists exported a week ago.
- The same segments have to be loaded by hand into each tool.
- There is no reliable sync between the warehouse and working systems.
What's included in the Reverse-ETL service
- Reverse-ETL setup (Hightouch / Census / custom connectors)
- Connectors to tools: CRM, ads, campaigns, support
- Field and data-model mapping for each destination
- Sync scheduling and error/retry handling
- Accounting for target tools’ API limits
- Logging and discrepancy control
- Highlighting data requirements (152-FZ)

FAQ
How is reverse-ETL different from analytics and a CDP?
Analytics measures, a CDP unifies customers into profiles, and reverse-ETL delivers data and segments already calculated in the warehouse back into working tools (CRM, ads, campaigns). It does not calculate anything itself — it needs a ready data model in the warehouse. If there is no warehouse, you should start with that, not with reverse-ETL.
Does it work in real time?
By default — no: the sync runs on a schedule (hourly or daily), enough for most tasks. Near-real-time is possible but costlier and more complex and not always needed. Plus target tools have API limits — you cannot load millions of rows instantly, and we account for that.
What is needed on our side?
A ready warehouse (DWH) with collected and reasonably clean data and an understanding of which segments/fields go where. Reverse-ETL only delivers data — if the warehouse is a mess, the tools will be too. Consent and policy for personal data (152-FZ) are on your side, we help technically.
