UX audit

We examine where users find your site hard or inconvenient: navigation, forms, clarity, ease of perception, the mobile experience, barriers on the way to the goal — and build a prioritized list of what to improve. Honestly — an audit finds usability problems, but it does not raise conversion by itself: the recommendations are hypotheses that take effect after implementation and testing.

UX audit — overview

UX audit — price, timeline & scope

A UX audit is a one-time expert evaluation of your site's usability against recognized usability principles (Nielsen heuristics and others): how clear the navigation and structure are, whether forms and checkout are convenient, whether texts and buttons are clear, whether there are barriers and extra steps on the way to the goal, and how the interface behaves on mobile. The goal is to find what stops people from reaching the action and to give a prioritized plan. Honestly about the main point: this is diagnosis, not a redesign and not a guarantee of conversion growth. A UX audit is largely expert opinion based on best practices, not proven truth: what will work specifically for you is verified by implementation and testing (A/B, usability testing). So the recommendations are reasoned hypotheses, not "this will lift conversion 100%". For example, the advice to "remove unnecessary form fields" usually helps, but in your case it is still worth verifying with a test; and if the recommendations are not implemented, or implemented partially, the metrics will not change — the result depends on your team or developers. The audit is stronger when there is data: access to analytics (Metrica/GA4), click maps and session recordings shows where people actually get stuck; without data it is a heuristic evaluation based on experience — we will say so honestly. Click-map and session-recording services (e.g. Yandex.Metrica, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar) are connected separately — some of them are paid and are not included in the audit price. It is a snapshot in time: the site and user behavior change. We do not promise to "double conversion" or "+X requests". What you get: a report with usability problems by priority (critical / important / nice-to-have), with an explanation of "why this hurts" and recommendations; design and implementing the fixes are separate work. If the site is very simple (a one-screen landing) or has almost no traffic, we will honestly say the audit will give limited value. Picture this: instead of "the site is inconvenient" you learn that the order form requires 9 fields, 4 of which are unnecessary, and the cart button gets lost in the background — and you understand what to fix first. The base price starts from 20,000 ₽; it depends on the site size and the number of scenarios.

Problems we solve

  • People visit the site but do not reach a request or purchase.
  • A high bounce rate and it is unclear what scares them off.
  • You argue with the team about the interface without arguments.
  • Before a redesign you want to understand what exactly does not work.

What's included in the UX audit service

  • Evaluation of navigation, structure and the user-path logic
  • Forms, checkout, cart: extra fields, barriers, errors
  • Clarity of texts, buttons and calls to action
  • Visual hierarchy and interface readability
  • The mobile experience and convenience on different screens
  • Barriers and extra steps on the way to the target action
  • Data-based analysis, if access is available: analytics, click maps, session recordings
  • A prioritized report with problems and hypothesis-recommendations

What you get

  • Clear understanding of where and why users get stuck
  • A prioritized list of improvements (what hurts more)
  • Hypothesis-recommendations to test (implementation and tests are separate)
  • Arguments for the team instead of taste-based disputes

How the work goes: steps

  • We clarify the site goals, key scenarios and collect access (analytics, maps, recordings — if any)
  • We go through the scenarios as a user and do an expert heuristic evaluation
  • We prepare a prioritized report with problems and recommendations and review it with you

FAQ

  • Will conversion grow after the audit?

The audit itself does not raise it — it finds usability problems and gives recommendations. These are reasoned hypotheses: what exactly will work for you is verified by implementation and testing. We cannot promise to "double conversion" or "+X requests" — we will honestly show the priority growth points.

  • Is a UX audit objective truth or an opinion?

It is an expert evaluation against recognized usability principles and, if access is available, against your data (analytics, click maps, session recordings). Best practices do not guarantee a result specifically in your case — so conclusions are worth verifying with A/B tests. We honestly separate facts from data and hypotheses.

  • Is access to analytics needed?

Not mandatory, but desirable: with access to Metrica/GA4, click maps and session recordings the audit shows more accurately where people actually get stuck. Without access it is a heuristic evaluation based on experience — the conclusions will be less precise, we will note that honestly.
